Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is a government scheme aimed at providing free electricity to households in India. Application Process
Step-1 : Visit the official website. https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in/
Step-2 : Provide the following details for registration.
•Select your state.
•Choose your electricity distribution company.
•Enter the number of your electricity consumers.
•Enter the mobile number.
•Enter email
•Please follow the instructions from the portal.
Step-3 : Login with User Number & Mobile Number.
Step-4 : Apply for Rooftop Solar as per the form.

Step-5 : Fill the online application form.
Step-6 : Wait for feasibility approval from Discom. Once you get feasibility approval, have the plant installed by any of the registered vendors in your DISCOM.
Step-7 : After completion of installation, submit plant details and apply for net meter.
Step-8 : After installation of net meter and verification by discom, they will generate commissioning certificate from portal.
Step-9 : After you get the commissioning report. Submit bank account details and canceled check through the portal. You will receive your subsidy in your bank account within 30 days.
