Telangana State Road Transport Corporation is going to release a notification in a few days with 3 thousand posts in Telangana state. Out of these three thousand posts, 2,000 driver cum conductor posts will be filled.
The proposals sent by the RTC regarding the filling of these posts are currently under consideration by the government.
The Mahalakshmi scheme was implemented after the Congress government came to power in Telangana. Due to the implementation of this scheme, the number of passengers in the buses has increased significantly and the occupancy ratio has increased by 100%. In this background, the work load on the staff has increased. Keeping this in mind, the government has decided to fill up 3,000 new posts.
There are chances of release of notification for filling these jobs after the expiry of Election Code. Another important information is that RTC will no longer issue separate notifications for the posts of conductor and driver.
The candidate will have to work as driver and conductor as per requirement. For this, the organization is planning to release a joint notification titled Driver Cum Conductor. An official decision has to be taken on this
