Officers holding the post of Stenographer under the Central Government.

Holding analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre or department

With ten years’ regular service in Pay Level-4 in the pay matrix (Rs.25500-81100) or equivalent.

Income Tax Department Job Openings 2025 – Age Limit

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.

Income Tax Department Salary Details

According to the Income Tax Department’s official notification, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary as per the 7th CPC in the revised pay matrix of Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-
